Assist Personal Activities High

We assist and / or supervise various personal activities of daily life of participants who requires High Intensity support. The goal is to help participants live as independently and autonomously as possible. High Intensity supports may require the services of specialist, more skilled or experienced support workers to deliver support relevant to the complex needs of some participants, depending on the level of assistance identified in the NDIS plan. The support can be provided anywhere in Perth and in a range of environments, including but not limited to the participant’s own home or shared accommodation etc. Where required, support can be provided for the participant undertaking social, recreational, education or employment activities or even during holidays away from home.  Higher level of personal assistance could include:

  • Continual active support due to high medical requirements e.g., respiratory support or tracheostomy care
  • Frequent intensive positive behaviour support to manage challenging behaviour

 

ACCS is registered to provide the following high intensity personal support:

  • Complex Bowel Care
  • Enteral (Naso-Gastric Tube – Jejunum or Duodenum) Feeding and Management
  • Tracheostomy Management
  • Urinary Catheter Management (in-dwelling Urinary Catheter, ln-out Catheter, Suprapubic     catheter)
  • Subcutaneous injections
  • Complex Wound Management.
  • Any other high intensity supports
